About us and our veneers

Craftveneers are based in Hampshire in the UK, with over 30 years experience and passion of working with natural wood veneers.

We personally source many different cuts of exotic and burr/burl wood veneer to maintain the best possible range of products, for marquetry and other woodcraft, for the professional and hobbyists alike.

Consecutive wood veneer refers to sheets cut one after another from a log, maintaining a very similar, continuous grain and color, essential for techniques like bookmatching where they are opened like a book to create a symmetrical, mirror-image pattern, often seen in high-end furniture and wall panels for a uniform, natural look.

If you don't see the veneer you require listed in our menus, please don't hesiate to contact us as we will do our best to source other exotic cuts, species etc.

Our veneers generally come as a standard machine cut 0.6-0.8mm thickness, and are unbacked.

We are a mail order business and will ship worldwide at very reasonable costs.
