AFRORMOSIA

Afrormosia veneer is a high-quality, decorative natural wood product prized for its rich, golden-brown colour, durability, and resemblance to teak. It is commonly used in high-end interior design and furniture making.

The heartwood ranges from a pale yellow to a rich, medium brown, often darkening over time when exposed to light. It typically features a fine, uniform texture and a grain that can be straight or interlocked, sometimes displaying dark, contrasting stripes. 

It is highly regarded for its strength, rot resistance, and durability, making it suitable for applications that are regularly exposed to moisture or heavy wear. The wood is generally easy to work with both hand and machine tools, turns well, and takes glues and finishes effectively.
